Boise, Idaho

Boise is the capital of the U.S. state of Idaho, as well as the county seat of Ada County. The population was 205,671 at the 2010 census, making it the most populous city in the state.

It's name is of indeterminate origin, although probably comes from a name used by early settlers and "mountain men." Fort Boise was first built here by the Hudson Bay Company in the 1830s, during the period that the Oregon County was an Anglo-American condominium. Native American raids prompted the US Army to rebuilt the fort in 1863 along the Oregon Trail near the quickly growing Boise City. The city was incorporated in 1864 and became territorial capital in 1865. Boise remained the capital upon statehood in 1890.

It is located in Boise Idaho. Next to the Ester Simpolt Pond & Veterans Memorial Park. Be careful, the owner has a history of evicting residents for no reason other than she can. She has no regard for residents & is a mean spiteful woman.

Maybe this wasn't here in 1939, it looks like the original store was at 16th and State, with this store built in the 1940s.
